Bruce Nelson has been a full charge, lead carpenter in the construction industry since 1988. Bruce worked for the Maryland Department of Transportation prior to joining the Coastal team in 1990. Bruce specializes in all phases of home improvement. A number of Bruce’s projects have been nominated for the Remodeling Award of Excellence from the Home Builders Association of Maryland. Bruce also coordinated our largest project to date, the conversion of the old St. Paul’s school building in Ellicott City into twenty-one condominium units.

Bruce Nelson, the head carpenter and overseer of the project was most efficient in coordinating the work and all the workmen (Jeff, John, Mike, George, Fred, Greco Brothers, Brown Roofers, etc,) were pleasant, skilled, cooperative, and tireless in their efforts. Even my neighbors noted how hardworking and punctual the men were each and every day, even during bad weather conditions. How gratifying it has been to be able to rely on uninterrupted progress in construction!

Not only were the materials and personnel of top notch quality for this job, but the personal touches, e.g., newsletters, cards, and tips for homeowners during the home improvement process, also contributed to the goodwill generated between Coastal Builders and myself.
