Georgia Grace Cafe
Coastal Builders converted a rundown "Old Ellicott City" retail space into a beautiful cafe.
The project was interupted by the historic flood in 2016 - now a distant memory.
Stone walls and chandeliers impart authentic Ellicot City ambience.
A charming view of Old Ellicott City.
Exterior view of building after the flood and during renovation work.
Plaster was removed to reveal 200 year old granite stone walls, and the entire space was reframed to modern standards.
200 year old floor joists were replaced in order to support the new kitchen equipment.
The atmosphere may be historic, but Coastal installed this modern commercial kitchen.
The kitchen includes a state-of-the-art barista / baristo station for hot beverages.
Stainless-steel dual convection ovens are a highlight.
